Welcome to our Blog, where you can stay up to date with us here at Bytheicws Holiday Cottages.

Our guests choose to relax and unwind in all sorts of different ways. Many like to walk, either the coastal path, or the circular routes that are dotted around the island.

Many come for the wildlife such as the birds, the seals and squirrels. Some visit beaches, while some haunt the burial mounds and other places of historical interest.

You will see from our reviews that nobody leaves Cwch Gwenyn or Nyth y Wennol disappointed.

Although winter is a quiet time for us, we were full over Christmas and New Year. Both sets of guests wanted a cosy and peaceful away-from-it-all-break/. They got exactly what they came for.  This week, our visitors in Cwch Gwenyn made the pilgrimage to Llanddwyn beach (or Newborough beach as it also known) and fell in love with the place, as everybody does.

Today is January 25th, St Dwynwen’s day, the Welsh equivalent to Valentine’s Day. Our beautiful cottages are the ideal place for a cosy, romantic break.

We will be posting here every fortnight or so, showcasing the walks and other activities available to our guests. We'll also feature some of the behind-the scenes-stories about the maintenance and development of the site.

Don’t hesitate to get in touch if anything piques your interest.

We look forward to your company!
