Bytheicws Holiday Cottages are close to the village of Llanfachraeth in Anglesey and has been in our family for generations. We have spent three and a half years renovating the outbuildings into two stunning self-catering holiday cottages which have been completed to a very high standard including roll top baths, underfloor heating plus maintaining many of their original features such as open stonework and oak beams. It has been a true labour of love! We are welcoming guests from the end of April 2020. We hope you will come and share in our little piece of the island of Anglesey's history.

Cwch Gwenyn (Beehive) has 2 bedrooms and sleeps up to 4 people and Nyth y Wennol (Swallow’s Nest) has one bedroom and sleeps, 2 people. The cottages are available all year round for short breaks and full weeks.

Each cottage is built out of rugged stone and whichever cottage you choose you'll find every room a delight, with original features, smart décor, and quirky touches to guarantee you a relaxing and unforgettable holiday. You'll receive a warm welcome and enjoy every modern convenience in a beautiful rural setting where local amenities are just a couple of minutes away.

You'll be ideally located, exploring all that the island has to offer. Coastal paths, quiet beaches, cycle routes, and birdwatching locations are all at hand and for those who like to gaze at the stars, our night skies are a treat.

Both properties have well-equipped kitchens so when you aren't dining outing out at a superb gastropub or restaurant, you can whip up a lovely meal for a cozy night in. Each has a private patio area and outdoor furniture so you can enjoy a glass of something chilled or sit around the fire pit whilst tucking into a BBQ.

We have invested in good WiFi too so that if you wish, you can remain 'connected' while you enjoy the peace and tranquillity of Bytheicws Farm, light-years away from the hurly-burly of everyday life.

What Guests Say

We had a wonderful week in this delightful and extremely comfortable cottage. Anglesey has an abundance of great beaches and walks with easy access to Snowdonia. We also enjoyed paddle boarding on the Menai Straight, kayaking at Llanberis and golf in Holyhead. Sian and Steve are great hosts and we look forward to returning soon.

Sian & Steve are so lovely & helpful, we spent last week in Nyth Y Wennol & whilst the pictures are stunning you don't get the amazing character of it. Everything is done with attention to detail & clearly a great deal of care. A truly amazing place to relax with great walks on your doorstep, in a relatively un-spoilt part of Anglesey. We would definitely recommend it & hope to be back soon
